I printed out the Chicago Spire last night and started to put it together but when I put it together, it didn't look like it was put together the right way. So, I was wondering if someone could post instructions to show how to build it and put it together.

I'm getting nervous about making this model now based on those comments!
![]() I've been thinking about putting some basic instructions together for models, much like the canon website does where you have a set of assembly instructions as one file and the model parts as another file. This one definitely needs some instructions by the looks of it. But first, someone has to successfully build it so they can tell everyone else! Good luck everyone!

Can't someone update this model to the real design as it is now?

I just heard back from STR, it turns out the Chicago Spire model that we are having 'fun' with trying to assemble is not his, he was just hosting it on his website.
He can't recall who's model it is so it's probably OK to keep it on this thread. It was only fair to check if it was OK to publish it, especially as we hadn't heard from STR for a while

i don't know about the tuntex, i didn't ask him about it. I like that tower and I spotted it on his website in a photo but it was a prototype as far as I know and i don't think it ever became a model that we could download.
I didn't know either that the chicago spire wasn't his until he told me.

That's what you say for everything, "just asking". It's like Peter and the Wolf, people will start not believing in you.

![]() Commit this to memory ChicagoFreak, skyscaperlover told you to stop making demands in this thread. Your counterargument is A) unapologetically admitting you did what he accused you of, and B) attempting to demean or diminish his argument by noting his dissertation that Piginapoke is a female user, a reasonable mistake to make, as he is named Robin, and androgynous name, and has a female avatar. Your argument is invalid as usual...
