Thanks for the comments everyone!

I spent the night in Cornwall, Ontario which is kind of the halfway point for me and I'm just about ready to leave for Quebec City now. I have my laptop along with me and there's free wireless at the hotel I'm at so I can post a few quick pics I shot yesterday on the drive up.

Belleville, Ont.

Bridge in Napanee, Ont.

Courthouse in Kingston, Ont.

City Hall and a photo of downtown Brockville, Ontario and this time I have my tripod with me and what a difference it makes.

Vieux-Quebec October 2009 Part 1

I have lots more photos to come I just need to get off my butt and finish them.

Le Chataeu Frontenac

These first two churches Sainte-Michel de Yamaska 1729 and Sainte-Louis de Lotbiniere 1818 were actually photographed on my drive up to Vieux-Quebec via Route 132.

This is the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires constructed in 1687-1721 but suffered major damage in 1759 when the British bombarded the shit out of la Ville de Quebec with their cannons.

Vieux-Quebec walking down Rue Couiliard.

Côte De la Montagne

Rue St-Jean

This is a shot of Rue St-Louis and the pic just below is the famous cannonball growing out of a tree which most likely landed in that spot in 1759.

This is the Dauphine Redoubt in Artillery Park built in 1712 and unfortunatley there wasn't much I could do about that red car in the shot.

These 3 churches were all taken on the I'le d'Orleans.

Sainte-Pierre 1717

Sainte-Famille 1743

Sainte-Jean 1734
This was the last photo I shot that day on the island since it was getting dark and there was a bitter wind coming off the St Lawrence River.

Great pics! Don't you hate it when you go to take a pic, and some great hulking hideous vehicle pulls in front and parks? LOL!

Exactly, I often like to wish I owned a tow truck.

Vieux-Quebec October 2009 Part 2

Ecole d'architecture de Universite Laval

A view from the Vieux-Quebec Funicular.

The night before someone climbed up this statue of Champlain and stuck a pumpkin on it.

This is La Citadelle de Quebec but I didn't get too many shots here mainly because I was getting hungry and wanted to hurry up so I could get something to eat.

It's all Vieux-Quebec but some of the pics are of the lower town Petit Champlain.

I have more shots I'll eventually post of the Plains d'Abraham, Sainte Anna de Beaupre (30 minutes from QBC) and misc photos on my drive back to Montreal via route 138.

The Family Fountain

Many thanks for the "comments" and "views" and more pics of Quebec to come another day.

These are two photos I shot of the Family Fountain (1985) in St. Georges Square downtown Guelph, Ontario last February 2009.

Harris Woolen Mill Ruins in Rockwood, Ontario

Thanks Matt, Kingsway, Chadoh, DWest and Paco.

These are the ruins of the old Harris Mill in Rockwood, Ontario built in 1884 which was in use up until 1919 and again for a short while in the 1930s. Most of the structure was destroyed by fire in 1965.

I actually shot these in the beginning of last March 2009 and at the time my camera was still new and I hadn't yet bought a UV filter for it.

Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré

October 16 2009
Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré is around 30 minutes north-east of Vieux-Quebec.
