hey, its not the most original design i've seen...but admittedly, once completed, the world will marvel at it..i have a feeling that the end product will look much nicer than pictures..

i think its superb! lots of different elements/shapes all thrown in together. what a monument!
good on you Jakarta! you deserve it.
Ive made a scale model of it back in 1997 and removed it from my display back in 99. ill post pix of it compared to worlds talelst towers/bldgs ect.

there was actually a small diagram in Kompas comparing Jakarta Tower to CN Tower, Petronas Towers, and shanghai's vision Bionic Tower..
unfortunately i don't have a scanner =(

yo.. the skyscraperpage actually updated their page on jakarta.. ehhee but they only changed the status of jakarta tower and the completed estimation..
there's this diagram comparing jakarta tower and BNI 46
and what's with the sun center office tower thingy? is it actually proposed?

heres some pix of my 1;1000 model display at Sydney city council.
i did the Jakarta model 7 years ago and its not detail but it shows the size comparison.
you might spot other tall towers/bldgs of the world!

compared to worlds tallest skyscrapers>

compared to CN Towwer, Moscow,Eiffel and Sydneys. (the large object in background is top 350m of the planned 1000m solar tower)

The sydney tower view to the CBD somehow similar like Melbourne Rialto observation deck view

Its cool though, to have oberservation deck in the city.
