That is good. The point of railways is to pass through city centres, not around them.

Entirely my sentiment too. Although this new infra can become a good city bypass for freight if it ever becomes necessary. May be with the completion of BTK ? But in any case, Please keep passenger trains in the city centre...

famous Eiffel bridge and Historic ''Kukushka'' train. Renovation of Historical Train has been finished and launched today on Borjomi - Bakuriani route!

Are there still talks between Georgia and Russia to restore the rail link between the two countries ? If yes, any progress ?

railway goes through Abkhazia. no progress yet. Armenian president proposed with Georgian Prime minister to restore Moscow - Sokhumi - Yerevan line. no decision is made yet.
