I love the angular north and south elevation. Kind of aggressive looking (in a good way). The other sides...not so inspiring.

A little wide, but I like it - be great to see some proper renders, as i'm a big fan of MAKE.

Yes, which becomes 150m if you round up to the nearest metre.

in a way its good to have the height cut down, with the wharf, cross island and market redevelopment towers topping out at about 170-180m, it will add some variety to the area's skyline

chunky, to put it mildly. Doesn't inspire. Vauxhall seems to be getting its fair share of unloved designs.
might we have anyone wittering on about retain the current building for its 'industrial heritage'. |

Will be interesting to see the design evolution for this as they looked at everything between 80 & 300m,office & residential before the optimum height of 150m was decided so as not to a block of towers the same height.

The Vauxhall Tower reminds me of the Empire State Building in that pic.
I really hope when we get proper renders this looks good becuase I think this actually has potential. |

I like the design, location and massing but am concerned that the cladding if not selected carefully with the highest quality materials is in danger of becoming 100 Middlesex Street Part 2

are those solar panals or sky lights on the sloping area? if they are skylights then i wouldnt want them flats as the people in the high segment above can have a nosey and see what i would be doing 24/7!!!! not the best thing really! haha
my bad they are 'sunny roof terraces'!!! still! just as bad really! |

What are the odds of this getting passed? With the other talls around it i would have thought it would of been kinda easy, but it's london... so... I officially call this the: ZIG-ZAG BUILDING! |

I don't like the cladding. There is so much of this random rectangular box cladding going up and its going to look even worse in 10 years time.

so are they cutting 50 centimetres off to be sure that it isn't really a skyscraper. sounds kind of sensible rather than say making it say, 157 metres which would let the nimbies get all over it. better to get it built than try to build something really big.
