¡It's Pitaya Time !
Each end of spring, many people go to the outskirts of the city to collect the Pitaya fruits of Sahuaro (giant cactus), a sweet taste and is the original fruit of Sonora. It is eaten either directly or as part of the so-called "Nieve de Pitaya" (ice cream flavor Pitaya), a contribution of migrants from the south of the country that usually make ice cream of different products.

Hermosillo it's a mix of 19th, 20th and 21th buildings, all of different kind of architeture styles, cause it's a small an still young city, in constant transformation... we lost a lot of old buildings, but recently, we are in labors of rescue our history...

Great pictures! Last time I went to Hermosillo was like 11 years ago, so it looks very different than what I remember. If there's anything better than the city itself, it's girls from Hermosillo
