With the ceremony of hoisting the national flag, began the celebration of September Month of the Fatherland, in which we celebrate the 199 anniversary of independence.

In the commercial district of Hermosillo, in two blocks from the street Guerrero, there are establishments that offer traditional clothing for the holidays in schools by the Independence Day.

Centro Historico Hermosillo (Historic center) district of downtown that includes buildings (houses and buildings) old city, some of the late 19th and early 20. However, there is no official plan to rescue the area, and that remains in each of the owners whether or not repair their houses, so many are in poor condition, neglected, at risk of collapse, but others performing renovations in order to have an intention to form a historic downtown and in other capitals.
