im not sure your allowed to take pictures of this.
but anyhow its almost done i think 1 crane still up but yet its getting there

There are photos post already on this thread. Internally you can appreciate the security concerns but I can't imagine why a person cannot take pictures from outside the perimeter I have heard that they are spending $1b of taxpayers money on this project and I would like to see what my money is being spent on.

There are not many $1b building projects these days. NSW - (Barangaroo? $6b and the various hospitals in SA, Gold Coast and new Sunshine Coast hospital, also the RNA showgrounds in Bris to name a few that I know)

A friend who is working on the project mentioned a few days ago that Bovis were telling workers that the construction cost was $800 mil but anticipated the costs to blowout to more than $1b.

There is no real substance to the cost estimate except conversations which may be inflated.

From the images that are posted and the area it looks like it should cost $200 mil but listening to him talk about the waste and lost time due to checking and onsite security the $1b is believable.

Thanks for the links to issues relating to security. I suppose that it is necessary but anybody driving past can look at it.
