I doubt it's even approved, what's that in the middle? Glass? Considering the bombings we encounter it'll be a bitch to replace that over and over again.

Islamabad (and the whole of Pakistan) has so much non-descript, bland, box-like architecture so it's refreshing to see something different.

Most typical Pakistani architecture is like that in the West from the 70's which was the most horrible design in history. Just a square box. They've moved on while our architects are still stuck in the same rut.

This looks like it was designed by a Western company in Dubai.

And that too considering BT was launched like more than a decade ago yet back hardly 5% of the development was occupied. Reason...no decent access even after a decade, no gas connections , etc.

Anyway, this is the sheraton thread and my initial comment was because Bahria had announced the twin towers long time ago. So what happened to that?

Must be nearing completion, no?

The answer to the above tells how much trust I have in this project. Sorry for being so negative but thats what comes to my mind when I hear Bahria. Talking about other developers, I also have similar views of them.
Bahria Town Rawalpindi/Islamabad phase 1 to 6 are completely occupied and work on the newer phases 7 to 9 is going on at a rapid pace. The quality of Bahria Town is also very high, much better than anything else in the city, perhaps even the country.
