Just curious,do they close the road when a storm hits the coast? 'cos on a third pic road looks to be dangerously close to sea....

It's open even at storms, so there has to a very strong storm for this to close, i think.

As you can see the weather in these shots is very rough.

Salt water is not a good car wash!

The road is open at any time and most other roads in Norway. They usually just close bigger bridges during the heaviest storms. The coastal road is built to handle powerful waves.

You must really like this road!

Drove this road a few months ago. Will be nicer when the Atlantic ocean tunnel is completed this autumn, it will complete the Kristiansund - Molde rout.

I like this road a lot; first time i saw this road in Volvo (?) commercial in Greek Television, just before i asked you, in your thread if you know this road...

ok, yes its 3-4 hours away from me. Btw, you should edit your first post. You have written "Between Molde and Kristiansand". Kristiansand is a city in southernmost part of Norway. It should be Kristiansund.
