Sure. You must try Sura (Korean) and Samdado (Japanese). These are both authentic restaurants in Gulshan 2. Excellent food!

Thanks. Much appreciated Both added to my list.

I know there are quite a few steak houses in Dhaka now. Which one do you suggest?

I hear Casa-Greek is quite popular these days. I went there when it first opened in 2005. I found it ok, nothing that spectacular. Is it worth trying now?

Also two other restaurants I am looking forward to are El Toro and Le Saigon. I have got positive feedback about these from my friends. Does anyone here have any views about them?

Sorry for all the questions its just that I am going on a tight schedule and can't afford to experiment.

I havent been to El Toro..but Le Saigon is pretty good.I would also recommend Steak-House[Mantra] at Gulshan 1 or Spitfire at Gulshan 2 if you are a steak lover.Hope you have a great time in Dhaka bro

Steakhouse is really good. Both the ala carte as well as the buffet. Both El Toro and Le Saigon are also really good. Not the biggest fan of Spitfire. But if you're a fan of seafood you may try out Saltz which is on otp of Spitfire.

[QUOTE=nayeem007;40486134]Bella Italia :- Great Italaian Food in Dhaka Bangladesh

Thanks for the pictures Nayeem. Bella Italia has just moved out of their earlier location. They've had disputes with the owners of the property Apex Adelchi and have been at the Shoppers World building (further north past Gulshan 1) since July 17. Glad they at least re-located and did not shut down - great food I must say.

So its in Shopper's World now? If so then its nearer to me. Won't have to take the car

Bella Italia is now located in Shopper's World[next to Concord Richmond building which houses the Eastern Bank Limited].It is closer to Gulshan 1 intersection and is also next to "Hi Fashion furniture" showroom.

Steak house-once you find Shopper's world, keep going towards gulshan 1 intersection and take the first "goli" on the left, and then take a right. And you will be there
If I can remember right, Steak House is also located right next to "Samarkand" restaurant.
