Tanjung Rhu Beach
Kedah

One of the most popular beach in Langkawi, playing host to two of the most expensive resorts on the island, name the Four Seasons Resort and Tanjung Rhu Resort. The beach is well kept by the resorts' personnel. Look up and see if you can catch a glimpse of the eagle roaming in the area, probably looking for a quick meal.

Eagle-Feeding
Kedah

Eagle-Feeding is one of the must-do things in Langkawi. It will be your best magical moment, ever! The large mangrove forest covers about 1,309ha, including the river banks up to the estuary. It is behind Tanjung Rhu beach, set among the sheer stone outcroppings of this beautiful island.

Payar Island
Kedah

Fixe observation platform off of Payar island in Langkawi. Notice snorkelers in the water, and the scuba divers and tons of fish under the water you can't see.

Harimau Malaya
Malayan tiger

The Malayan tiger was only identified as being a separate subspecies from the Indochinese tiger in 2004. It is found only in the southern part of the Malay Peninsula, that is, in the southern tip of Thailand and Peninsular Malaysia.

Layang Layang island
Sabah

Layang Layang, meaning kite, is fast becoming another one of Malaysia's premier dive destinations after the world-famous Sipadan Island. This oceanic atoll is situated in the South China Sea about 300km north-west of Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah.

The little land mass supports a luxurious 90-room dive resort, a Malaysian Naval base and a nesting colony for several sea-faring migratory birds. The reef topography is essentially made up of a rich growth of hard corals; some so shallow that they break the sea surface during low tides, but most begin at depths of about 5m right down to the ocean floor.

Some of the marine animals observed around the 14 dive sites include black-tip sharks, hammerheads, jacks barracudas, bump-head parrotfish, lionfish, moray eels, turtles, nudibranches, gobies and the ghost pipe fish.

Laguna Redang Island Resort
Terengganu

Adding to the wonder of it all is the low-rise resort has been designed as a modern interpretation of traditional Malay architecture to be in total harmony with its nature surroundings. Matching the design is a style of hospitality that is again uniquely Malaysian. It all combines to produce a retreat of rare destination with nothing overlooked to ensure a perfect stay.
