Yes, walked through it this morning. Quite nice. Also nice to see is that the council has finally cleaned up the pavement on the piazza and the southern side of James St down to William St of the thousands of those unsightly black chewing gum blobs. Makes the old section of pavement look half decent now.
Lets just hope the Piazza will remain free of becoming a local watering hole, leaving bottles and casks littered everywhere. |

I have the boy's Nikon (which is now mine) but I can't lug that around with me to work as it's too heavy and bulky. The Sony I use for all photos I post on here is really slim and small but unfortunately takes really crap shots lawl

I can't wait for those trees to start growing though, they look a mite scraggly and scrawny at the mo'.

I half agree with you, but it's the disposing of it on the pedestrian pavement or road SHOULD be illegal, but not the chewing of. There are bins provided. people should use them.
It has been an irritation of mine for ages (black blobs on pavements all over Perth), as I walk down that road every morning, and to the best of my knowledge, that section of walkway hasn't been touched for at least a year. Yes, it's the little things that irritate me, lol |

So, this is the Saigon Pastry House, Stay Healthy, Perth City Tackle & Camping, Down to Earth Bookshop and Joynt Venture building (using Google Maps).

I work opposite Saigon Pastry House (well, used to, it vacated a month or so ago and is opening up on Barrack St). All those retail spaces are run down and in need of an update, but I liked that I could pop over on my break and pick up a reasonably priced bite to eat.
Arcade 800 could be totally awesome if they built up a few floors and opened up the current arcade into more of a laneway to join up to the King St laneways. |

Nah it will be a permit for something RE food or bathrooms. Its a $0 permit like extended trading permits. It's probably just a permit to serve food or alcohol in an area that isnt specifically designated for it.

Knowing Perth bureaucracy I say it's probably to do with pushing the coffee cart 3inches to the left.
