Sunburn
Come on... how many of you caught it today?
I have, its really annoying, I have just spent a week in Turkey and didnt catch at all and it was about 40degrees every day yet and I spend 4 hours in the park today and look like a blidding lobster. My legs feel like they are on fire and I'm never going to sleep tonight. |

niiiiiice, I'm glad to say I'm not that red, infact my legs are still pretty white, but they are so hot, its like some one is sticking hot needles in to them, I just want it to go away :-(

I've learned to be very cautious; always used to misjudge it and get burned most holidays, worst was 2nd degree burns across my shoulders when I was 15.
Nowadays I'm careful: for example just had 2 weeks in Egypt... Factor 50 on my face and head throughout, started on 30 everywhere else and worked down to 20 by the end. Now I actually tan a bit, which I never did before. |

My tan will be perfected by early-September and I will look great for about 2 weeks before it fades again.

I burn't slightly in Portugal a couple of weeks ago. It was only on my shoulders and the back of my neck though.
I'm really careful now. My dad's best friend died from skin cancer and it was pretty nasty. He had his arm removed to the shoulder to try and get rid of it but it sadly didn't work. The english seem to be the worst nation for burning. People underestimate the amount of damage the sun can cause. Burning yourself to a crisp doesn't make you tan it makes you look like a red umpa lumpa.
