Very good seems brand new, is it very used? Because the photos were taken at a not very busy hour/period.

It is heavily used. I avoid taking photos when there are a lot of people since there's more chances that security people that work there will see any photographers. Most of the time, they will always tell you to stop taking any pictures of the metro system, which is kinda stupid.

Agree. The more stupid, coz i didnt see there any signs telling yu it's forbidden to take pictures. I took a lot, and was never told to stop (probably because of the crowd they didnt spot me out
Guangzhou metro grows so fast and it's very nice. The only complain would be the fact, that the stations look all pretty much the same.

Exactly. there were no signs indicating photography is prohibited.

The stations on the Line 4 (elevated portion) are very different from the underground ones.

Let's hope Line 5 will be much better! This has been by-far the longest construction... they had to extend the the platform capacity from 4 subway cars to 6!

*Update* - For line 6, they are considering to increase the platform length capacity from 4 to 6 cars as well. Line 6 serves many important districts and locations, and I had no idea why they would plan to have 4 car-sets run in that line in the first place, Capacity would be very limited.

I was quite disappointed with the look of the trains.
They look very bug-liked. I don't like those types.

The coloring of the trains is way too tacky, and over coloured, if they had the red and some other colour would be nice. but 3 colors on 1 train is too much. Even if they use 3, they can use better ones that go together.

Colors? Maybe are not the coolest ones, but come on guys!
Color doens't matter anything under ground! The more, coz in Guangzhou the metro has the screen doors, u barely see anything from the train-exterior More important is the train interior and the look of the stations.

I'm not sure if such big adds on the platform glas-walls are in each station, but what i remember from my trip to Guangzhou in June it all looked pretty much like this one:

(my picture)

If this will be on the new line 5, then we won't see any colors of the train

haha true, the only thing that i can't stand is the fact that 2 of Line 5's stations are elevated, and you can see the whole train on the roads and streets. :P

also, the screen doors at the elevated stations are only have way, but good they cover the bottom half.

the exterior of the trains, are EXACTLY the same as Line 4 trains. which looks tacky.

It's good from the perspective of the transit-user: it's more visually interesting then just being underground.

I LOVE the paint job. I think it's one of the most successful designs in China.

Different tastes probably. But I think they've done a great job designing the train.
