Opened at the end of 2006, the elevated section of Line 4 looks a little bit old.

Guangzhou Metro Line 4 was the first metro line driven by linear motor in China.

At the speed of 85KM/H, connect the suburbs and down town within 40 mins.
The background is a huge residential area, Asian Games City, the dormitory of Athletes and journalists during Asain Games 2010.

China's first metro line on karst gets electric power supply

Source: ECNS | 31 July 2017

The first phase of Guangzhou's subway Line 9, which is recognized as the first metro line built on karst in China, was provided with an electric power supply on Sunday. The power will be used for future construction projects along the line.

The 20.1-kilometer-long metro line passes through six fault zones with about 50 percent of them being karst caves. Due to the challenges posed by the complex landform, the line is extremely difficult to construct, according to a professor from the China Engineering Academy.

[...]

A test run for the first phase of the line is scheduled for December.

Or at ???gang station, depending if the first character gets rendered or not (It doesn't get rendered on a old computer I normally use but it does in the laptop I'm now). Foshan tram will also connect to Foshan line 2 at the other end. IIRC there are other tram routes planned across Foshan, as well as Guangzhou in addition to the existing Haizhu tram line.

Finally! Now we know why it was severely delayed (it was expected for 2013), geological issues.

Notice the Tianhe Keyunzhan to Shipaiqiao section of line 10 is already in operation as part of line 3. I want to call it the line 3 branch, but what is called "line 3" is actually two different lines, one from Jichang Nan (i.e. Baiyun Airport) to Tiyu Xilu and another one from Tianhe Keyunzhan to Panyu Guangchang, under the same name. I'd renumber the southern part as line 10 for the time being if it weren't for those rush hour trains running from Tonghe on the northern part to Dashi on the southern part.
