The muslims were in Spain (Al Andalus) for 8 centuries (from 711 to 1492). These are some of the most important architecture examples:

Alhambra de Granada (XIV century palatine city)

Giralda de Sevilla

Arab minaret of the great mosque of Sevilla, the mosque was replaced by a gothic cathedral but the minaret was preserved as the bell tower. Is 101 metres tall and was built during the 12th century, inspired in models from Morocco (Qutubiya)

Some minarets were preserved after the christian conquest as the bell tower of the new church. Not only the Giralda.

Minaret of Bollullos de la Mitación (Sevilla)

10 km away from the Giralda, survives this rural model of minaret of the 12th century.

San Juan de los Caballeros (Córdoba)

Really tiny minaret of an old tiny and humble mosque of the 9th century.

Salares (Málaga) 13th or 14th century

Iglesia de Santiago del Arrabal (Toledo) has an exempt minaret.

San José (Granada)

El Salvador (Toledo)

But a lot of the new christian medieval bell towers imitated minarets.

Illescas (village of Toledo)

San Román (Toledo)

Medina Azahara (Córdoba)

Only a few kilometres away from Córdoba, was built in 936 a palatine city. Was completely destroyed by a rebellion in 1010 (in the fitna that ended with the Cordobas caliphate). Was found in 1911 and the archeologic works go on since then. It's said the Alhambra was nothing compared to the richness of Medina Azahara. The area is more or less 1.500 x 750 metres.

Atlanta's Fox Theater (1929) incorporates elements of both Islamic and Egyptian architecture. The Moorish design is evident in the minarets, onion dome, shapes of windows and doors, lattice work, and decorative patterns. It was originally designed as a temple for the Arabic Order of the Mystic Shrine.
