i knew that. my point was what he said was wrong.
regardless, bankwest remains an inpendant bank, its own business. its HQ is in Perth. You wont have the HQ of Commonwealth Bank dealing with Bankwest issues.

Try telling that to CBA or its shareholders.

No, BankWest quite willingly submit to their cashed up, federally guaranteed, four-pillars protected masters.

imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, you think that's true?

Adelaide tryies to be like Melbourne whereas Brisbane tryies to look like Sydney

Melbourne tryies to be like London, and Sydney tryies to be like New York, is the impression that i get

cheers

Victoria is about 30 minutes on the ferry, which you park your car on

Nope. You actually have to drive 38km from downtown Vancouver to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal (45-70 minutes), and from there you board the ferry which takes about 90 minutes. After having disembarked at Sidney (32k north of downtown Victoria) you then have to drive for another 45-70 minutes.

What about Las vegas 1.7m overtaking Brisbane 1.9m it is growing very fast. Las Vegas was about 500 000 in 1980 its grown so fast nearly every year since then.

better yet, has Sydney overtaken Monterrey, Athens, Hangzhou, Ankara, or Abidjan? Maybe Melbourne has overtaken Harbin, Bandung, Porto Alegre, or Algiers?

Also, apparently Sydney's urban area is more dense than New York City, Maimi, & Vancouver while Melbourne is more dense than Chicago, & Boston.

It's just stoopid shit.

given that the phoenix cbd is about half the size of Perths, i don't think it matters too much.

Phoenix, Arizona.

Mountains of sprawl...

And they really must like their above ground car parks there! And from memory, it's one of the few cities that Amtrak don't serve. They've recently opened a tram line however.
