The home with the big windows front and back is a real standout. Would look good in postcode 6003. Any more info on architect?

Hmm I don't know, white boxes kinda suit our climatic conditions.
That whole area looks great, thanks for the photos. |

They need to start some long term planning to get the train line to run to this area.
However, I suppose there would be no space to run it at surface level, and I guess tunnelling under Freo would be pretty expensive, but we can always dream. |

The line is already there, just doesn't have any passenger trains on it.
Cockburn Rd is also frequently cited as a potential light rail route, which Freo council prefer to extending the passenger train route. |

Light rail would be a better alternative. Would be able to service the centre of Freo then run along the coast through all the new residential developments.
The rail would hug the edges of fremantle and wouldn't be utilised well. |

I don't see why light rail along Cockburn road (servicing the local Fremantle market) and heavy rail (servicing Cockburn - Fremantle for commuters) couldn't both be built.
The coast alignment wouldn't be a problem as it would still go past all of the new South Fremantle developments and Port Coogee. If extended to Cockburn it would also provide very easy access to the beach/Fremantle for the Cockburn centre residents, making that area a lot more attractive for residents and making Fremantle more attractive as a place to run businesses. |

Both could be supported if the heavy rail was extended to Cockburn and serviced that large catchment area. Then run the light rail from Fremantle Station down to Coogee to link back up with the heavy rail.

Yeah yeah, they're probably shear walls to stop the building falling down n shit. Have a look at what it looks like from the other side.

pretty much the same with balconies. This can go into the 'better than nothing' category, which in Perth has its own post office.

I took some other pics of around sth freo
Here is the hotdog joint, havent tried it yet. ![]() ![]() I have tried this joint out however, Missy Moos, I reccomend the 'Old King Cole', beautiful. ![]() ![]() I really like the way south freo is developing organically along south terrace. A few cool, shops, cafes etc opening up. The sterile development that is South Beach Village will at least be contributing a local population to frequent these places along South Terrace and keep them thriving.
