Wether you like them or not, most of the proposals just don't fit into the skyline. The ones that do fit in the skyline aren't tall enough.

shouldnt be tall on that plot. Decent height with a superb design.
The tall ones should go further into land.

If Beijing does not want the Fanhai Twins then maybe this stunning 505m x 2 tower should be built on Chaotianmen instead? I find the height and design of the Twins to be perfect for that location.

Many good quality renders of one of the proposals, posted by hot-simon. Final version? It's clearly shorter than 290m, hope the height isn't final.

Looks quite nice. Hopefully they can get the water levels for the two rivers to be higher.ATM, this ChongQing area looks really country like, even with all the new buildings

The last design shown is wonderful, but even at 360 meters, to call it a landmark of a city like chongquing, it is a joke. I think it should be double that. Then it would be perfect.

This plan has only 228m according to the adv. The design looks stunning, but they firstly announced a 360m project, so let's hope this is not final.

Awesome! Marina Bay Sands on acid

The project is filed under "In Progress" on the homepage, so it really seems to be the final design.
