i wish safdie can change more about the detail and stuff, makes it bolder, and do something about the sky garden ,it s fantastique and all but should not be exactly the same like the SANDS, i want a fresh looking (even dominating) deck

as someone who had the chance to be on the skydeck of the sands i have to say there is nothing that could have been done better, so why not bringing the concept to another city like it is already.

that's the site how it looks like at the beginning of FEB 2012 - IMO there is no chance that we will see anything in this area in the next 'few' year... and the whole construction completed before 2025

Yea, Chongqing is quite far from being the "largest city in the world". The reason people always cite this is because when the new municipality was created, it included a huge area which is in no was part of urban Chongqing. So yes, Chongqing is the most populous municipality in the world, but it isn't yet one of the largest cities (it's just in the top 50). Perhaps the rural exodus in China today will be directed more to Chongqing in the future.

i think this project can be finished by 2016 or even earlier.

imo the skydeck is just a signature of Safdie but there is a lot of buzz in my city,people are complaining about copying from Sands, so if its not exactly the same would be better

i didn't know marina bay sands was THAT famous, but then again i live in europe and you never hear anything about these things outside this forum anywhere.

Come on now, Germany doesn't need supertalls to boost their economy I agree, though, Frankfurt could use some more towers for their supercluster.
