The cladding could be better though, but the project itself is perfect, incredibly iconic!

Ok, here we go! It looks like this one is finally moving along. Does anyone have video footage of the demolition?

Edit: scratch that, I already found it.

This thread is reaching epicness over 9000! One of the most spectacular designs ever, old ugly skyscrapers getting demolished....the hard way. I don't think this thread can get any better

Are they demolishing any more? I would love to see the apartment blocks near the river side being dem as well, such eye sores. Get some of the taller ones recladded, and we have a modern looking skyline.

this building is taller than all the other buildings there, so hopefully it can hide some of the not so modern ones

Given the characteristics of the complex I wonder if they'll build all the towers at once. Did they do that with the similar project in Singapore?

i don't think all 8 towers will raise at the same time though. probably the smaller ones without a skybridge first at the same time and then when they are halfway up or even topped out the others, maybe with the tallest delayed a bit. although it would be quite a sight to see all rising at once.

btw, welcome to the boards cfredo, always good to see more germans around here (x

haha yeah, we don't have many skyscrapers in germany which makes us so excited for any little detail i guess

the only thing i may want to change is the amount of sky gardens, i really love them and they are my favorite part of the project, but 3 may be a bit too overkill, which i admit.
