it looks great incased! looks like all the towers after the twins have the same height. so maybe we can expect 6x 246m

Maybe the architect doesn't want to end up like Cesar Pelli replicating his own designs over and over again. (I'm refering to Marina Bay Sands in Singapore which is from the same architect.)

Unlike Singapore, which has an equatorial climate, Chongqing experiences cold/cool weather for half of the year, hence the decision to cover the platform to make it usable all year round.

Well, seeing the smog levels lately....

No, you're right. An open platform would have been much cooler. That way it feels like you're in a park OUTSIDE.

They should put some mini-train on top and call it the world's tallest monorail


I would be interested in the engineering of its construction, how would they span it at such a height?

They are strange new renderings indeed, that don't include any of the skyscrapers built in the past ~5 years.

i think the height is still 347m since the design did not change, only better renders
