Indeed....

How about we examine the increase in murder rates in Ireland, gang violence, horrendous levels of drug abuse and disgraceful income inequality leading to some of the worst child poverty and populace relative poverty rates in Europe and the developed world?

You Anti-Northern Ireland bullshit is incredibly tiresome.

I think I should start a few threads about Ireland addressing some of the above mentioned points.

Oh so I should appoligise for speaking what everyone else thought - i.e Loyalists kill Catholics....oh I wonder what happens when immigrants, in their hundreds, move in to the area following "peace"?....don't explain it was there for all to see.

Strange....

Northern Ireland had a large immigrant population before the Republic did. Belfast in particular has had a very large Chinese and Indian community since the 1950's.

Yet of course, you would not be aware of such things as you are so full of shit. Shall we engage in a debate about the treatment of the Traveller community in the Republic?

Once again where did 100 Romanians have to go home for safety? Come on - Belfast inevitably is racist - admit it. Not all of course but it was always going to be fundamentally rascist.......after decades of sectarianism - I hardly expected you lot to welcome immigrants with open arms. And don't complain to me as the evidence has been presented to the world.

And in this city we have far more immigrants btw - I have not heard of 100 being forced from their homes - have you?

Fundamentally racist?

Not exactly sure where you pull such bullshit I really don't. So fundamentally racist we have a Chinese women elected to the Northern Ireland Assembly, THE ONLY national legislature in Europe to have a Chinese person elected.

Yeah can see the fundamental racism so clearly.

Almost as fundamental as your Child Poverty and endemic child abuse covered up by the Church and state.

Come on - don't bullshit - Catholics were oppressed and then went through the troubles with sectarianism rife - do you think everyone else is stupid? - that when "new comers" came it would all be hunky dory!? Come on...

Strange....there was me thinking both sides engaged in oppression. Just as a tiny minority from both sides have engaged in racist attacks.

Also missed the news report that stated ALL 'new-comers' have been driven from their homes, assaulted, abused and forced to leave.

On no....wait....that is just more Odlum HYPERBOLE BULLSHIT.

Why bother with all this really. You have no point to make odlum.

UniGuy, hop on over to "Energy independence in 5 years" thread, will ye? I would like an economists opinion of the project, which is what you seem to be (that or a student) :P

Really...so the IRA never existed? They never killed innocent people, they never bombed and killed thousands?

Both sides were as bad as each other. The sooner you realise that then maybe some of that sand will be washed away. Though by your opinion you will always have some in there.
