Thanks. This time reminds me off the short lived Veeran Sundaralingam (VSTC) also, which was the last bifurcation with leader names. After this bifurcation only, I came to know there were 2 VNR buses operating to our place & started following them up. They always allocate decent buses, sometimes new ones but not pathetic ones.

The destination is Hosur, but still TNSTC-DPA is using Kannada language being commuter friendly.

Salem-Rasipuram private mofusil bus

This Salem-Rasipuram route is served every 5-10min by town bus service from Salem old bus stand to Rasipuram. But still there are few buses from Salem central BS to Rasipuram..



Two Erode bound private buses are fighting near 3 roads signal and Trichy-Hosur bus block the entire road.

Note: One of the private bus has Kangeyam destination

The regular rajahamsa runs via Sathy, Tirupur. Not sure whether it runs in the same route as regular rajahamsa or it runs via Coimbatore.

New buses started moving around Pollachi/Coimbatore/Udumalpet for registrations and final touches. Last week saw one unregistered bus running in Coimbatore Road, Pollachi. Missed to click that. It had the same design as we had newly added buses in TNSTC-Coimbatore. Also saw one fully finished bus in Udumalpet unit with Coimbatore to some XX destination via Karur, Trichy. This bus might got allotted to Tanjore/Kumbakonam/Pudhukottai route.

This half baked bus moving from Udumalpet to CEC, Pollachi. Already 4 buses were standing in Udumalpet.


One of the oldest design of CEC.. Currently running as Lorry to transport materials in Pollachi.


Really impressed with the FC work that was done recently in Coimbatore-Palani buses.


Most of the buses which went to FC also had bilingual stickers(Tamil+English)


Sorry for the poor quality pic. An Erode built bus of Poy-2 depot running in Pollachi-Coimbatore-Ooty-Gundulpet route. It starts at 4.40 Am in the morning and returns to Poy around 10 PM. So cant get this guy during day time for a better pic. Now Poy-2 depot has the distinction of runnng Interstate buses to two "K" states. Other depot which has this distinction in CBE region is being Ooty-1 depot.

Its a 12M chassis only and all of them are from AL. But i dont think they are 44 seaters. We have to wait until we get them on road. As per tender doc it is 49 seater. Earlier also we got 12M uds but they are 48 seaters.
