From whatever i have seen w.r to MTC,
-the Articulated buses which are coming after FC recently are sporting the Cream-red livery.
-All old SLF's(first lot) which are coming out of FC are sporting the same cream-red livery.
-All new lot SLF's (both AL and Marco) are getting into standerdization mode, both are only getting the orange+red stripes on white livery.(i.e even blue SLF's are getting converted)
So far i have not seen any blue + white non SLF sporting this red-cream livery. Probably it will take some more time or if any forumer has spotted, can share.

Atlast our STC's are atleast thinking about color standerdization.

Reno thanks for posting refurbished buses nice livery i think this livery is good for city buses and one more doubt what are the region given buses for refurbish to private bodybuilders or both govt body builders and private builders are engaged in this work?

In salem i noticed city buses painted with sky blue with yellow line after FC below posted pic recently FC done bus & moffsul buses painted with Dark green after FC (amma jaalras) but now jaalras changed to Creamy red or brown .we want standardization to all govt buses.

I think now TNSTC is getting better revenues. they need to standardize their operations.
1. All City buses should be grouped into normal, Deluxe, Express and should have uniform color. AC buses should follow the stop list of Deluxe buses. there should not be any difference between some AC buses run with Deluxe stops and some run with Express stops.
2. All mofussil buses should be classified into Express, All stop services. Each division should have only one uniform livery colors. So that we can identify from the color itself. this is the way, people used to do it when chozhan, pandian, cheran, DCTC, periyar was there.
3. All SETC should be normal,(should follow TNSTC mofussil bus fare), Super Deluxe(with push backs), UltraDeluxe, AC Buses.. These buses should have separate bus fare.

In trichy i found a town bus in the maroon and cream livery and i remember the same bus and route was innaugrated sometimes back by CM with green livery, tried to capture but failed, let me try if i spot this weekend. Further before all city bus liveries were made the old dark green one of trichy during FC.

So whether the entire city bus in the state to be in maroon uniform. It doesnt seems good.

This is the proof. TN 29 crossed 2000 before 2 years

TN-29 crossed 2000 before 4 years. remember, when 100 new buses were inducted to TNSTC -nagercoil in 2008 (that was a big function), NGL got TN-29 N-221X series, so i believe this bus should be delivered before 2008. Probably 2007

Passenger review in another forum travelled by Chennai-Trichy Volvo till Villupuram

Got a chance to travel by TNSTC chn-trichy volvo this week. The bus starts from CMBT at 10.30 am. Got into the bus at perungalathur at 11.10 am. Right from the beginning, the driver drove the bus very aggressively. He never let any bus to be in front for more than 10-15 seconds. He honked everyone out of the way. There were many dangerous cuts made. Fellow SETC and TNSTC drivers were just shocked by this bus. Everyone on the bus were excited with the driving. Although the maximum speed of the bus is 80, we are able to reach the destination quicker. Got down at villupuram at 1.10pm. Exactly 2 hours for a distance of 140kms. Never expected and seen such an aggressive driving from a govt driver. (have never seen it from a private operator as well except my college bus, the one and only JPR bus)

I really dont wish to praise a private travels,,,, even i share my exp.. once i missed to catach my regular 198 H nanjil rider, so i caught infant jesus whch proceeding from nager coil to chennai recently.... wov.. what a driving .... i am really enjoying the skills and d experience of d drivers.... it kicks out KPN, SRM.... at once it overtakes the SRM VOLVO... the SRM multiaxle got struggled to overtake ths.... around 8.30 the bus starated from chennai, reached nager coil at 6.20... from ths u may know d speed of vehicle...

Can anybody take d picture of infant jesus? it boarded at nager coil omni bus stand it self...

Yesterday i commented salem division is not affected by jaalras colour (creamy red liverish) salem division continues old liveries but today i spotted Jaalras Colour affected Tnstc salem division below pics i took in salem MD depot Ramakrishna road.


sorry for the poor quality this bus is parked inside the depot & i don't know this is new one or refurbished one but route stickers shows salem - coimbatore.
