The only way to find the city is yourself try to guess (right or wrong)!

You can see at archive and guess cities since September 5, 2010.

Yeah, now I can see a few days ago the Dec 25th one was fixed. But now it says like this:
"Today's city picture shows (city), (country). Your guess was (city), (country). You scored 0 points in this round for having neither city nor country right."

... Please fix this ... -.-

Should there be a time limit or a descending score for people who spend time searching for the answer?

I would like to see 5 points for a correct answer with 1 point deducted for every 10 seconds you over the initial 10 seconds to answer.

Also perhaps if you are within a 200Kms you should get 3 points and 500Kms 1 point.

Additional rewards for the country skews answers for US cities

I noticed the comment you made on February 3 claiming that it's been fixed, but I only guessed it yesterday and got this message:
"Today's city picture shows V. Your guess was S. You scored 0 points in this round for having neither country nor city right."
Maybe the fix only worked for those who guessed before February 3.
