I think there's something wrong with the points of january 2012.

According to the scoreboard of the top 25 users of that month, there's someone with 122 points and someone with 100 points. There are only 31 days in january, so more than 93 points should be impossible.

There are several months that way, I think it when some users guess cities from previous months.

since we have some "discussion" at the wrong section (IMO), i start again here:

Some people complain that we have too much chinese cities,
but actually i disagree! It's just too much of the same chinese cities.
The key would be more variety, eg. Taiyuan or Shijiazhuang are never shown
and both have identifyable skylines.

the same problem i see with brasilian cities... it's always just the same ones
i can't remember that we ever had Maceio or Goiania.

i don't agree with user jose l. , who complain that we have not enough
latin american cities; actually we have!
but i think he is right when he miss Manila ( did we ever had Manila?, can't remember)

furthermore i'm tired of all those places without any skyline at all.
i mean hey! we're on a forum called skyscrapercity

How about we make a list of cities with remarkable tall buildings which never shown in the GTC yet?
and then ask Jan to include those cities from time to time

i start with:
- Taiyuan
- Shijiazhuang
- Kunming
- Anshan
- Tangshan
- Zibo
- Wenzhou
(all in China, with remarkable bldgs,
i could name more, but that's enough for now)

- Da Nang
- Ha Long
- Hai Phong
- Nha Trang
(all in Vietnam)

- Manila (not sure, we had already or not)
- Cebu City

- Surabaya
- Medan
(Indonesia)

- Maceio
- Goiania
- Sao Luis
- Vitoria
- Vila Velha
- Divinopolis
- Uberlandia
- Blumenau
- Joinville
- Santos
- Guaruja
- Pelotas
(uhhhm, there are so much brasilian Cities with skyline)

and some US cities, which we never had, i think!:
- Wilmington
- Akron
- Dayton
- St. Paul
- Bellevue
- Spokane
- San Jose
- Stamford
- Rochester
- Des Moines
- Boise
- Peoria
- Wichita
- Shreveport

Khartoum
and many other african cities...

btw

whoever is thinking "Chinese cities look all the same" (and US cities) is talking nonsens
and should check the brasilian Cities

actually Brasil got way more cities which could be easily mixed up.
It's kinda easy to recognize that it is a brasilian city, but often hard to get the right one.
well, except Rio and Sao Paulo of course
.

G:Corp Developers (P) Ltd.,

Hi, I visited G:corp Developer's project THE ICON very next to Manyata Tech park. The mock up is also ready, it is so beautiful, and the cost is also reasonable. I am planning to buy A 3 BHK apartment there.

They gave this web site address for complete details about the project.

UN Locode (GTC's adopted standard) uses Firenze and Luzern:

Which browser is the city pick-list code optimised for?

Firefox (PC), IE8 (PC), Safari (PC/Mac) all only work intermittently.

I even tried entering the code for todays city directly, but clicking send simply refreshes the page in Safari on a Mac.

use the UN Locode. http://www.unece.org/cefact/locode/s.../location.html
as already shown 2 posts above
and then you should find the right place IF u search in the right way...

It shouldn't be any problem which Browser u use,
i use Firefox and never got a problem with the codes
