whoa, how'd you get it?
it may be "crap", but it's seriously the prettiest picture of the burj i've ever seen i guess that's because it doesn't look as stumpy, but more like the renders i've always wondered, does shifting work for giant panoramas like those you're working on? if so, then that would be gorgeous. Pretty hard to get one of those 17mm tilt/shift, being it a top-quality professional niche lens. Congrats on the new toy, anyone bitten by the shutterbug would have lots of fun with that! :-)
BTW, when they are listed (and I haven't seen many being sold, even at BH), these puppies go for $2,5k. And YES, it gives a whole new perspective of the Burj, thanks for sharing these pictures. Please keep us updated. Cheers, Leo |

A 17mm Tilt and Shift Lens is too extreme. Look at the Burj Dubai pic. The top is way too large. It doesn`t look realistic. Isn`t that the point of Tilt and Shift lens in architecture photography?

[/QUOTE] Can you give this picture in higher resolution ? Bj looks miraculous in a "real" perspective. I thought that this picture was photoshoped , but it is reason of new lens. Last edited by Tekila; July 13th, 2009 at 12:25 PM. |

That last picture I think other than the BD photos is the best.

Hey Gerald, awesome lens. Is that 17mm on a ful-frame camera, or on a cropped sensor camera? I mean, amazing either way, but I was wondering.
