Madhya Pradesh: Sanchi Stupa

Sanchi Stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and renowned ancient Buddhist stone temple and pilgrimage site.
It was commissioned in the 3rd Century BCE by the emperor Ashoka the Great.

Famous Gokarnanatha Temple at Kudroli, Mangalore


A wonderful temple with a small Sri Krishna and Hanuman shrines nearby. Really a beautiful temple with a colorful water body having shiva's statues around. I visited there during Navaratri. What a colorful procession it was!
