112 pieces of large mammals at close range are impressive. The Science Park of Granada brings in a new temporary exhibition, until May 2010, the collection of animals to the taxidermist Granada sculptor Antonio Perez Rodriguez has made more than 40 years of dedication to the preservation technique.

'Animal museum. The art of taxidermy 'gathers 80 specimens showing educational applications, artistic and scientific works of different preservation techniques that have helped to know species endangered or already extinct, and since the eighteenth century were put into practice because of the interest for natural history.

The visitor, upon entering, dive in the methods used over the years, techniques and a section explaining the mounting of skeletons, a key to understanding the importance of anatomy in taxidermy.

Eurasian Eagle Owl (Bubo bubo) in Oslo. The Owl was later taken care of, and put back to its normal environment.
