The interior of that building is so grand and elegant, just like the Stalinist skyscrapers. Soviet public housing is ugly, though.

Socialist?
Should this thread be retitled? The architecture is from the "Communist" eras, no?
"Socialist" would still apply to many countries that are "democratic"? Maybe I've been spending to much time in the United States where "socialism" and "communism" are frequently, inaccurately, conflated? |
