The Monument of Friendship Georgia-CCCP, did some parts actually belong to a historic building or not? looks like the ruins of some kind of old castle

I guess the explanation was needed anyway. And, mark you, Dom byta is not the name in its proper sense, it's rather a type of public facility.

That is a very interesting article. But, I see too much freedom, going back to the basics, sticking to the topic

Warsaw, Poland - St Michael (archangel) Church (1950)

First church in Warsaw, built from scratch after WWII. Architect - Władysław Pieńkowski.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bulgaria, The Buzludzha Monument (1981)

Buzludzha is a historical peak in the Central Balkan Mountains, Bulgaria and is 1441 metres high (4728 ft). In 1868 it was the place of the final battle between Bulgarian rebels led by Hadji Dimitar and Stefan Karadzha and the Ottoman Empire.

The Buzludzha Monument
on the peak was built by the Bulgarian communist regime to commemorate the events in 1891 when the socialists led by Dimitar Blagoev assembled secretly in the area to form an organised socialist movement with the founding of the Bulgarian Social Democratic Party, a forerunner of the Bulgarian Communist Party. The Monument was opened in 1981. No longer maintained by the Bulgarian government, it has fallen into disuse. The building is indicative of the brutalist architectural style common to many state constructed communist buildings. The Architect was Guéorguy Stoilov.

The church from Warsaw looks quite brutalist, and the monument from Buzludzha was already presented here.

Częstochowa, st. Wojciech church. When I was a kid, I thought it was just a demolished commieblock.
