hkskyline's 2009 TORONTO Photo Collection Part 3

94. It's time to head north to the city above Toronto to see how urban sprawl has blighted yet another North American city.

95. While these houses look nice and spacious, don't count on the bus to get you anywhere.

100. There is a price to pay for a garden in the city.

121. Coming soon ... more sprawl!

Gross. It isn't really "Toronto" though. Its Vaughn or Markham or whatever.

At least there is some density to the area. I used to live in the Atlanta suburbs (hated it) and there were many subdivisions with homes on 2 and 3 acre lots. People would actually drive to go to their mailbox!

That is a long way north of Toronto- it might not look it due to the scale of the photo, but it is. It is up near Canada's Wonderland, is it not?

Yes - near there but it's probably still a 10-15 minute drive away.

I don't envy these people's rush-hour commute downtown.. I wonder how much they spend on gas, and how many hours of their life they spend in a car.
