Does the Mumbai's Siemens coaches manufactured by ICF have Siemens label or ICF's ?

Delhi metro's Phase-I trains have only Mitsubishi-Rotem label, even though many of them were manufactured by BEML. Gurgaon metro's case looks like this.

DLF has submitted the plan for phase-2 of the rapid metro rail gurgaon
in phse 2 , it would be extrended to dwarka sector 21 from mall of india via udyog vihar-kapasahera and the other end(sikandarpur) would be stretched to sec 55/56(golf course road)

Investment by pvt companies doesn't means that work will be done on time. Mumbai metro and Hyderabad metro were handed to pvt players and Mumbai metro got delayed and Hyderabad one almost got cancelled. DMRC on the other hand is a public sector company and always builds on time.

Vice versa is also true. Kolkata metro line was completed in 23 years. Completion on time in such projects mostly depends on govt will and strong leadership.

@abhishek i think the reason why hyd got delayed was because of the maytas fiasco and not because all pvt players are like that.Look at the public sector retards building roads and ports .In ports we are 50 percent behind target.Coming back to the metro issue ,I think pvt players are still better dont generalize because of one company's failure

If it was not a PPP project, then we wouldn't have seen this fiasco. It would have started construction 2 years back if it was public owned project like Delhi metro or Bangalore metro.

There aren't many successful examples for good pvt projects in metro but there are many failed projects even outside India. I am not just talking about building the metro here but also about the operational part. PPP hasn't been much successful in metros.

गुड़गांव।। गुड़गांव की पहली प्राइवेट मेट्रो के लिए मिट्टी का टेस्ट पूरा हो चुका है। अब शहर में 3 जगह इस मेट
्रो के लिए पाइल टेस्ट किए जा रहे हैं। इससे तय होगा कि मेट्रो के पिलर किस तरह के बनाए जाएं। इतना ही नहीं इस मेट्रो के पूरे काम पर नजर रखने के लिए साइट ऑफिस की जगह का चयन भी हो गया है। ऑफिस बनाने का काम मेट्रो ने शुरू कर दिया है।

यह प्राइवेट मेट्रो आरएमजीएल (रैपिड मेट्रो रेल गुड़गांव लिमिटेड), आईटीएनएल, ईएनएसओ रेल सिस्टम लिमिटेड, आईएल एंड एफ. एस. ट्रांसपोटेर्शन नेटवर्क लिमिटेड और डीएलएफ का जॉइंट वेंचर है। प्राइवेट मेट्रो ने पिछले दिनों स्थानीय प्रशासन से अपने साइट ऑफिस के लिए जगह मांगी थी। इसके बाद हूडा ने सिकंदरपुर रोड पर मेट्रो को यह जगह दी है। मेट्रो ने यहां पर अपने दो बोर्ड लगाकर खुदाई शुरू कर दी है। मेट्रो यहां सिर्फ अपना साइट ऑफिस बना रही है। काम के दौरान सिक्युरिटी, ट्रैफिक डायवर्जन, क्वॉलिटी ऑफ मटीरियल आदि पर यहीं से नजर रखी जाएगी। इस साइट ऑफिस में मेट्रो के प्रोजेक्ट से जुडे़ कई अधिकारी बैठेंगे, जो निर्माण के दौरान साइटों का औचक निरीक्षण करेंगे।

सूत्रों के अनुसार मेट्रो के लिए फिलहाल 3 जगहों मालसरी रोड, सिकंदरपुर और एक अन्य जगह पर पाइल टेस्टिंग की जा रही है। इस मेट्रो के लिए सिर्फ सड़क के बीचोंबीच 4 मीटर की सड़क दी गई है। टेस्ट के बाद यह तय किया जाएगा कि पिलर किस तरह से बनाए जाएं और उनमें किस तरह की मटीरियल इस्तेमाल किया जाए।

क्या कहते हैं मेट्रो अधिकारी
डीएलएफ मेट्रो के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर संजीव राय का कहना है कि मेट्रो के लिए साइल टेस्ट पूरा हो गया है और अब इसके लिए पाइल टेस्ट किया जा रहा है। जिसके पूरा होने के बाद मेट्रो का अर्थ वर्क शुरू हो जाएगा। फिलहाल इस मेट्रो के लिए साइट ऑफिस बनाया जा रहा है।

मेट्रो की विशेषता

मेट्रो ट्रेन को बिजली नीचे की तरफ से मिलेगी। यानी ट्रैक के जरिए ट्रेन में बिजली सप्लाई की जाएगी।

शुरुआत में मेट्रो की फ्रीक्वेंसी 4 मिनट होगी जो बाद में पीक ऑवर के समय 1.5 मिनट कर दी जाएगी।

-इस पूरे मेट्रो सेक्शन में 6 स्टेशन होंगे।

न्यूनतम टिकट 10 रुपये का होगा।

सिकंदरपुर, डीएलएफ फेस टू, बालवेडेर टॉवर, गेटवे टॉवर, मॉल ऑफ इंडिया, डीएलएफ फेस थ्री

Considering its size and population, Gurgaon will be the most well connected city with a Metro Train once the Airport link also comes up...Following which it will be connected to Delhi,Airport and Intra City Metro services as well.WOW, Boon for Gurgaonites!

You are grossly under-estimating the size and population of Gurgaon then. It's no longer a small cute baby suburb.

Agreed that GGaon has grown up in the last decade but its doubtful that it would have got so much Metro connectivity if it was not in NCR and if it was an independent city. Case in point is Pune, Mysore, Nagpur, Kanpur, Patna, Ludhiana etc. They are much bigger & still struggle to have a single METRO line up.

In a few years GGaon will have 3 seperate Metro line..That is the benefit of being NCR!

Looking at the route plan would have liked if the DLF metro also consider serving the poorer part of Gurgaon which is near Maruti Factory..don't remember that colony's name but its got a huge population as well...Just to neglect them coz they are poor is unfair ! Hope they r included in phase2...

one question though. the map of metro looks heavily favoring only few localities of ggn. it is in a loop hence it cannot be extended. if it had branches then you can extend them easily but how do u make a loop bigger.
i dont see much scope for expansion, may be it is designed to be as it is forever.
