You also may want to check out the article on Business Daily about the delays in the start of construction on the Nairobi Toll Road project, which will be crucial to avoid even bigger problems downtown once the thika road project is complete.

before kenguy shares his ever awesome pictures, ya'll suckers will have to put up with these picasaweb pictures, LOL!!!

if you really strain your eyes you will see a concrete wall on far left side of the pic. and on the far right side you will see some sort of a flyover pillar or a drainage system.

Great project but who has the pictures of at least any finished sections? Or any current progress made?

The flyover being built over Uhuru highway at the museum hill roundabout. I think the flyover in Parklands will extend over the museum hill, past the national museum to form an interchange at Uhuru highway.

Thika Road

Hey Ken, do you mean the road will be all running up from parklands roundabout till the Uhuru highway - museum hill roundabout? That would be great. Indeed. The road is getting into shape now I can see, please post more pics when you can. The Globe Cinema roundabout, how about that? And do you know of progress with the whole Uhuru highway upgrading project? Best!!
