Burnaby's skyline is one to watch. Very good for a suburb!

Beside the two tallest highrises currently under construction, there will be seven more towers added to the skyline in the next 2 years and one of them will be 10 floors taller than the one on the far right.

No, all the new projects are condos/mixed use highrises. The 3 dark glass towers in the middle are the only office buildings in the metrotown. Vancouver is still the place for most offices in the lower mainland region.

I'm assuming office space is cheaper than downtown and height restrictions aren't as severe in Burnaby? If so, Burnaby might give downtown a run for its money one day.

I voted Calgary because it's skyline integrates so well with the surroundings and beautiful mountains.

Guys, I'm thinking to close this thread and open a new one with a new poll and I'm also thinking to add more Canadian cities including some large suburbs. What do you guys think? I consider adding Saskatoon, Regina, Hamilton and Ottawa in the new thread.

Can one do a poll where one chooses their top 5? It might be more interesting otherwise we'll end up with the same poll results. If you include cities like Regina and Saskatoon, you'd have to also included Mississauga, Halifax, Quebec City, London, Niagara Falls, and Victoria. They're all quite close imo.

The poll here represents the findings of the thread since it was started, so I'm not sure it would be a good idea to change it midstream. Canada doesn't have a big population or a lot of big cities, so it is probably adequately covered with the existing poll and the comments below!

Tiny but a pretty photo nonetheless. This is Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Honestly, toronto has the best skyline, the CN towe gives it a whole head ahead by itself. MTL, comes 2nd and it's also my 2nd home than Calgary would come 3rd... Vancouver has a lot of nuildings but it's not as aesthetic.

Cheerzzz

Its beautiful! Just to clarify that this photo was taken from downtown and the little group of buildings on the other side of the bridge is University of Saskatchewan.
