We don't have magnificent mountains in Toronto, but I hate to tell you that our city is not as flat as you think!

Me too.. rather have a city view than lake view any day. The lake is massive and gorgeous in the summertime, but a skyline is so much more interesting! This is my view.... a mix of Victorian and contemporary:

the author has a powerful zoom lens bringing the far away Mount Baker to Vancouver's door step. What a shot!

The zoom also make all three metro clusters become one huge single skyline even they are miles apart.

I think that's my new favorite Canadian Metro skyline shot. Good to see a few more tall buildings popping up above the other parts of the skyline. Love the snow covered mountains! Beautiful. (Who lives in the house in the foreground on the little rock island?) What a view.
