It looks like complete trash nowadays because nobody cares enough to restore it to its original look.

Telefunken factory, Lichterfelde, Berlin

Built in the 1930s. Later known as McNair Barracks. Seems like adding a clock to your building was all the rage back then..

It's by Romania's "Walter Gropius", the architect Horia Creanga.

He also designed the ARO Building in 1929




Bucharest has many art deco and bauhaus gems that are hidden under a layer of grime and careless modifications. The restoration of Magheru One (on the previous page) is a step in the right direction.
