Oh, no I said the Artist that animated MI's Action Film did the other video's animation too, I wish I could use Flash and CS half as decent

I mean its clear that Hausa films are inspired by Bollywood with the music numbers in between scenes, but I'm not that familiar with Bollywood to say its a copy of Indians the one Bollywood film I watched didn't have autotune used in some musical numbers while some did.

The more recent ones tend to be autotuned though...I have no problem with auto tunes but it should not distort the voice so much unless its for effect, or if the person can't sing

I watched this Bollywood film:

The second one the auto tunes is more noticeable.

I think that's how auto tunes should be used, its there but not so distorted that the song doesn't become so robotic and sounds like a dial up modem

Well Hadrami, its pop Pop rarely is deep Most pop artists are not Michael Jackson more Ke$ha

I would assume its more pop than traditional Hausa music like its Bollywood counterpart As in entertainment than you know deep music...

Ok in Senegal most pop music(mbalaax) and even senegalese rap is rather uplifting.
But with foreign(african-american) influence this is starting to change.

thats why nobody is listening to senegalese rap lol
pop music isn't meant to teach you how to do heart surgery, it's just some stupid shit you can have fun to, and anyone trying to make it otherwise is dillusional and most of the time boring as fuck.

Lots of people listen to their uplifting music.
They dont aim to become the african Lil Wayne or Nikki Mnaj. lol.
Our youth listen to it and they are true to hip-hop not trying to make thugs and bling bling hoes from us.

There is also pop music.

Well Pop tends to be catchy sometimes it can have a deeper meaning but often its supposed to be fun to listen to, which I'm sure the Hausa songs in films are fun romance pop songs.

Rap depends:
Sound Sultan and Wiz Kid are both rappers in Nigeria, but their aims are totally different.
Sound Sultan make catchy but deep meaning songs or songs with a message while Wiz Kid is more of the party style of music, fun to listen to but is as deep as a puddle (shallow).

Rap has always been two sided, Sugarhill gang and Public Enemy are both rap groups with entirely different goals...
Well Rap is sort of a African American thing anyway so Senegalese have already been influenced you mean the more mainstream (Pop) Rap

Senegalese rap probably is not as popular as Nigerian Rap due to language and size. Nigerians speak English and move around a lot so its no surprise that people in Kenya and South Africa know Nigerian acts. Nigeria has a combination of factors that allows it to export content than import it like the US does.

I mean influenced by the negative " i got bling bling, kill that nicca, fukk that hoe" american rap.

Most senegalese rappers rap for senegalese youth and almost exclusively in Wolof. They dont aim to be Africa's Lil Wayne or Drake. Just make good uplifting rap.

Youssou Ndour is a world star/senegalese pop artist. He makes deep positive songs but its entertaining and you can party on it. Most Senegalese pop artists follow his footsteps.
