Breaking News - Shankar and Vikram for Aascar Productions
The much awaited answer to everybody's question about the hero for Shankar's next movie is finally getting some clarity. As we reported earlier, Shankar and Vikram are confirmed to join hands after Anniyan. After Vikram wraps-up Thandavam, he is expected to fully focus on Shankar's movie. The announcement is expected to be made very soon. Aascar Productions will be producing this movie. Shankar was heads down developing the script with writers SuBa during the last month. The word is that the script has shaped out to be different from all the previous movies of Shankar. First Performance Capture (Facial) - Srinivas Mohan
 Srinivas Mohan who is taking care of Visual Effects in Maatraan revealed some interesting facts about the special effects in the movie today further heightening the curiosity among fans and industry people. In India, one more milestone in visual effects, happened today, i.e, Performance Capture (Facial) for Maatraan. It was made possible by team Maatraan. Im happy and thank full for the support and the involvement of the Director K.V.Anand sir, Actor Surya sir, Dop Soundar sir and Producers of AGS Entertainment for making this possible. 21 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு ரஜினி பாடிய பாட்டு - ஏ ஆர் ரஹ்மான் பதிவு செய்தார்!
21 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினிகாந்த் திரையில் பின்னணி பாடினார். இந்த முறை கோச்சடையான் படத்துக்காக அவர் பாடினார். 1991-ம் ஆண்டு மன்னன் படத்தில் அடிக்குது குளிரு... என்ற பாடலை எஸ் ஜானகியுடன் இணைந்து பாடினார் ரஜினி. அந்தப் பாடலுக்கு இசை இளையராஜா. இத்தனை ஆண்டுகளில் பல முறை அவரை பாடுமாறு பல இசையமைப்பாளர்கள் வற்புறுத்தியும் சம்மதிக்காமல் இருந்தார் ரஜினி. இப்போது மீண்டும் ரஜினி தனது அடுத்த படமான கோச்சடையானுக்காகப் பாடியுள்ளார். செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை நடந்த இந்தப் பாடல் பதிவின்போது இசையமைப்பாளர் ஏஆர் ரஹ்மான், பாடலை எழுதிய கவிஞர் வைரமுத்து, இயக்குநர் சௌந்தர்யா ஆகியோர் உடனிருந்தனர். மிக மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் இந்தப் பாடலை அவர் பாடிக் கொடுத்ததாக இசையமைப்பாளர் ரஹ்மான் தெரிவித்தார்.  http://tamil.oneindia.in/movies/spec...n-aid0136.html |

The latest news is that Bala is planning to rope in Power Star Sreenivasan for a role. Apparently, the director wants this actor to foray into serious cinema. Power Star has been offered an unusual role in a film that Bala intends to direct after completing Eriyum Thanal, say sources. Looks like we may get to see the Power Star sweating it out in Bala’s film soon.
