Really happy you guys like it!

I start my holiday on monday so there will be some pictures taken, but not as many as last summer, I don't think and in a way hope!
Because last summer was quite exhausting!
Not the picture taking, that was just fun, but the upploading and posting and all that stuff, but as I said a few updates expected next week!

We've been invaded

Stockholms Konserthus where a bunch of Nobel prices are handed out each december

And a flee market if that is the correct english word. Usually however from monday to saturday, vegetables, fruit and flowers and such things are sold here.

Looking back

Turn around

And looking down Kungsgatan

Turn around and look up Kungsgatan

Some more

Turn right

Nudies

Jazz

A part of where the really Old Klara quarter used to be but not since the 1950-1960's, now with highrises instead.

And end by departmnent store PUB probably most know for having had Greta Garbo as one of their employees before she became famous.

A walk down Gamla Brogatan
Norrmalm

Pictures taken on Sunday July 11th

I've been told that during the 1960's Gamla Brogatan was the street for the young, Stockholms answer to Londons Carnaby street at that time perhaps.
It's quite a nice street that has lost a bit of it shine and where a lot could be done to restore it's image as the cool shoping street!
It is still a very nice street which I like a lot, coolness factor or not!

Start where the last post ended but walk down Gamla Brogatan between the two buildings

Head down the street

Look to the left down Drottninggatan

Look to the right up Drottninggatan

Continue down Gamla Brogatan

Look back

Turn around and continue down the street

To the right Målargatan

Look back

Then turn around and keep walking down Gamla Brogatan

To the right Klara Norra Kyrkogata

To the Left Klara Norra Kyrkogata

Keep walking down Gamla Brogatan

Look back

And back further and end at the end of the Street with someone distroying the picture!

Thanks for your updates. It's actually incredible to see just how much of Stockholm city centre I saw when I was there and how your photographs seem to capture exactly what I saw! Keep up the posting.

Sunday walk continued
Norrmalm

Pictures taken on Sunday July 11th

Streets crossing Biblioteksgatan between Birger Jarlsgatan and Norrlandsgatan

Again Biblioteksgatan

And the first street comming up that crosses the street is Mäster samuelsgatan

Start at Birger Jarlsgatan and move up Mäster Samuelsgatan

To the right Biblioteksgatan

Turn left and continue up Mäster Samuelsgatan

Turn around

Turn to the left up Biblioteksgatan

Walk up to the next street that crosses Biblioteksgatan

And Yet again start from Birger Jarlsgatan and move up Jakobsbergsgatan

To the right Biblioteksgatan

Turn left and move up Jakobsbergsgatan

Turn around

And head down to Biblioteksgatan again and walk up to the first street to the left

This is Lästmakargatan and it doesn't cross Biblioteksgatan, it's just after it, but it will finish this post off.

Turn around and head back down

And just like the last post end here

Hm! I'm not really pleased with this post. I think I should have done a look to the right look to the left post when making the Biblioteksgatan post.
I didn't and I think it works better than how I did it now! Well at least I tested another way!

The end of this post

A tuesday walk on Birger Jarlsgatan
Norrmalm and Östermalm

Pictures taken by Boscorelli on tuesday july 13th

This walk starts at Nybroplan and goes up Birger Jarlsgtan which seperates the two districtsof Norrmalm and Östermalm, so to the left of the street is Norrmalm and to the right is Östermalm.

Start at Nybroplan

And move up Birger jarlsgatan

To the right of the street is the district of Östermalm

And to the left is the district of Norrmalm

Other side of the street

Keep moving up the street

Look to the left down Smålandsgatan

Look to the right up Smålandsgatan

Turn to the left again

Turn right and keep moving up Birger Jarlsgatan

Look to the left

Move up the street a bit

And look to the left and there is Birger Jarls Passagen, Stockholms smallest shopping mall.

Turn right

Jump over to the other side of the street

And move up the street

Jump over to the other side of the street and look back

Just to make it over to the other side of the street again

Turn to the left a bit

Turn right

And over to the other side of the street again

Only to hurry back to the other side again

And would you believe it over to the other side of the street again

Move up

Look to the right

Turn around and look back down Birger Jarls Gatan

Turn around and this is Stureplan so have a look around

To the left

To the left Up Kungsgatan

Turn to the right and that is the way up Sturegatan

Other side of the street

And end this part of the walk up Birger Jarlsgatan here looking back at Stureplan and the part of Birger Jarlsgatan to the right we've just walked on.

Birger Jarls gatan doesn't end on Stureplan, it continues and that walk will be the next post!

It seems like there's more shops than restaurants in the streets

I am very surprised by Stockholm. In a good way of course
