The Royal Palace in Amsterdam is build in 1670 and it is one of four palaces in the Netherlands which is at the disposal of Queen Beatrix by Act of Parliament. The palace was built as city hall during the Dutch Golden Age in the seventeenth century. The building became the royal palace of king Louis Napoleon and later of the Dutch Royal House. It is situated in the west side of Dam Square in the centre of Amsterdam

Today the palace is used by Queen Beatrix for entertaining and official functions during state visits and other official receptions. It's daily opened now for visitors.

Paleis Het Loo
The palace was a residence of the House of Orange-Nassau from 1684 ****il the death of Queen Wilhelmina in 1962. It's now open for visitors

The Russian palace posted by ainttelling is actually a reconstruction of palace destroyed during the reign of Czarina Elizabeth thankfully she had a scale model of the building made in order to preserve it at least in miniature. It looks great they really did a good job.
