Spin-off, Show us your cities Sports Venues

Spin-off from the pro sports stadium thread since only a few cities are really in contention. Pro, college, Motor Speedways, Horse Tracks, whatever.

Completed and under construction only (sorry Birmingham your Dome doesnt count). I wont make it a poll, so just pimp your stadiums and provide a little info about them.

For those that want to talk about every city in their state (SRG) try to devote each post to one city.

Nashville:

LP Field

Home of the NFL Tennessee Titans
Capacity of 68,000
Completed in 1998 for $290 million

Sommet Center

Home of the NHL Nashville Predators
Capacity of 19,000 for basketball, and 17,000 for hockey
Completed in 1996 for $144 million

Memorial Gymnasium

Vanderbilt Commodores Mens and Womens basketball
Current capacity of 14,000, original capacity of 6,500
Originally constructed in 1952 for $1.5 million, has had several renovations along the way to bring it to where it is now.

Vanderbilt Stadium

Vanderbilt football
Capacity of 40,000
Originally built in 1922, and rebuilt in 1981
$1.5 million price tag

Herschel Greer Stadium

Nashville Sounds Triple A baseball
Capacity of 10,000
Opened in 1978 and constructed for $1 million

Louisville

Louisville has some pretty great sporting venues, including one of the most historic in the United States. We'll start with that one:

Churchill Downs

Louisville Slugger Field

Downtown Arena (under construction)

Freedom Hall, which has hosted 6 NCAA Men's Final Fours

Papa John's Cardinal Stadium (addition underway)
