I read somewhere that all details (the article was talking about the cabin configuration but I guess it includes the livery as well) is finalized one year ahead of the delivery (I'm not sure if the one-year thing is only for newly introduced model like the a350 or it's always abt the same for all models).
Since the decision to create of a unique livery for LATAM was quite recent, I believe that is the reason why they did not manage to make it for the first delivery. And with the already challenging delivery target Airbus has, I believe Airbus wouldn't allow any late changes.

I guess you right.

I heard something like the first aircraft with new livery will be an A320. And they will shown with the A350 XTC.

PAL could buy Airbus or Boeing. The long-range requirement is LAX-MNL, so the A350-900 or 777-9X would satisfy their needs. I'm sure the negotiations are serious.

Airbus booked 1 new A350 order in December, 2x A350-900 for an undisclosed customer.

http://www.airbus.com/company/market/orders-deliveries/

In the changes category, LATAM converted 6 A350-900s to A350-1000s.

With the new order Airbus didn't bring the net order total out the negative numbers.

2015 order total:
Net orders: -3
Gross orders: 16

In terms of orders the A350 was the worst performing active twin engined wide-body program in 2015 behind the A330, 787, 777 & 767.

But that can be explained as it also has a large order back-log, 762 A350s. (it didn't pass the 787 though, which still has a back-log of 779)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And from a different source then Airbus's annual press conference.
Virgin is rumored to soon place an order for A350-1000s.
Quote:
Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd. is set to announce a deal for 12 Airbus Group SE A350-1000 jets with a list price of $4.3 billion as Richard Branson’s flagship carrier renews its wide-body leisure fleet, according to people with knowledge of the plan.
U.K.-based Virgin will probably buy nine of the twin-engine planes directly from Airbus and take three from leasing firms, said the people, who asked not to be named because negotiations are private.
Likely to be some deal swapping their A380 orders for the A350. Would make sense.
Airbus have delivered around 15 or 16 frames so far and with no Terrible Teens (frames 10 to 19) like the 787 programme. The A330neo programme has impacted quite severely on A350 sales....something Boeing did not try with a '767neo programme' while trying to sell the shiny new 787.
Once A350 production rises by late 2017 then watch those A330 orders convert rapidly I expect. The low Euro ...even by then...will be very persuasive.
They seem to fear the 777X more then they previously did, the 777X was a plane too big to be interesting for airlines. Well, they only had to look at the A350-1000 backlog compared to the 777X to see that they were wrong.
As this years A330 ceo orders will be delivered in 2017. I don't think that they will be converted to the A350 as there won't be any 2017 and 2018 A350 delivery slots. And I don't know if Airbus will accept A330neo to A350 conversions
Availability is the main issue causing the low number of orders, conversion will also mean deffered deliveries.
Size does not tell the story of why the A350-1000 hasn't been selling so well compared to the A350-900 and the 777-9X. The airliners may be having range anxiety, in which case an A350-1100 would not solve the problem.
A hypothetical A350-1100 has been rumored for years as an eventual possibility.
