Most have been converted to the A350-900. The remaining couple of A350-800 orders will also have to be converted or cancelled as Airbus won't be building this version.

Actually, A350-800 such as those for TAP Portugal and Hawaiian Airlines orders were mostly converted to the A330neo. Only Asiana and Aeroflot have yet to decide to whether to go A330neo or move up to the A350-900.

Most were converted to the A359. Even TAP's A358 order was converted to the A359 before converted that one to the A330neo.

Actually, more orders were fully canceled without conversions then there were orders that were converted to the A330neo.

Has Airbus announced when they will have the first test flight of the A350XWB-1000 (A35K) prototype?

This one detail disturbs me about the A350 : the main landing gears are hanging at a forward angle instead of a backward angle like A330s or B777s/787s.. Personally for me, the backward angle of the landing gears have a much nicer look than this one! Anyone knows why the designs are different?

I think the A350's landing gear design was taken from the A380. Hence the forward angle.
