Is this list correct? And why doesn´t Airbus have a competitor for the B787-8???
That's pretty much correct, I added the 777X in red.

Airbus has said that because planes only get bigger there's need for a direct competitor of the smallest version of the 787. And they also see the A330 as a good enough plane in this market segment for some years to come.

First flight scheduled for the 13th or 14th according to french regional channel France 3 Midi-Pyrénées.
It could also do a fly-by at the Paris airshow the 20th or 21th.

Yes, now if you compare the 359 vs.781/772 this is where Boeing will only get orders for the 781 if the carrier doesn't need the range, 772 are out dated for a serious sales pitch. The 359 will have very good range, and an ultra long range version one day.

It seems to me that this A350 rolled out much faster than the 787 did. The 787 was towed into the hangar, then didn't seem to taxi on it's own power for the next 2 years.

Nice to see another plane type in the sky. I hope the seating in this aircraft will be nice with no room for stuffing tiny seats like they're doing with the 777(10-abreast) and 787(9-abreast).

That's because Boeing were too hasty to roll out the 787 & had only put it together with non airworthy parts, also I think it was an empty shell too. I think they learned their lesson from that.

Yes, thursday or friday. But who knows, Airbus could manage an earlier surprise.

Last month there were no firm orders booked for the A350.
http://www.airbus.com/company/market/orders-deliveries/

But Tunisair did cancel their order for 3 A350-800, this brings the total for this subtype down to 89.

A flyby on 1 or 2 of the later days of the airshow is expected, Airbus will route the test flights over the airport.

It won't be on display at the airport, they won't do a landing or even just a touch and go. It's just a flyby since they won't do anything spectacular just one week into test flight program.

No. It's possible that the A350-800 might not even go ahead yet.

I've read Airbus had considered dropping the A350XWB-800 because the cost per available seat mile is not exactly very attractive for some airlines, though structural weight improvements means the CASM was lower than originally anticipated. As such, Airbus does still plan to get the A350XWB-800 into production. The A350XWB-900 and A350XWB-1000--being direct replacements for the 777-200ER and 777-300ER--are already firmed up for production.

One thing I'm closely watching is whether any airline will seriously look at buying the A350XWB-900R longer-range variant. I think Emirates and Singapore Airlines are interested, since it will allow Emirates to fly essentially anywhere in the world from Dubai non-stop and Singapore Airlines to resume the EWR-SIN and LAX-SIN route a way lower CASM than then A340-500.
