I don't think that's a good suggestion because it could spark biases and unnecessary fights in that thread. I'd rather stick with the individual aircraft threads rather than having a comparison thread. You can ask questions though about the aircraft in question and compare it with similar aircraft types.

After spending a long time saying they had no interest in stretching the A350 even more than the 1000, it now seems like a A350-1100 is increasingly likely:

"It's in a pre-concept phase," Mr. Evrard said. "We can certainly do it; it's a question of market, of priorities, and we will continue to listen to our customers about what's best for them." Didier Evrard, Head to the A350 programme.

They should of done this a long long time ago to kill the 777X program as it is of now. They already lost Lufthansa, and if the three Amigo's go with the 777X program then there's more market share lost.

Bad idea, because Boeing would then have to launch a clean-sheet widebody jet.

The Gulf carriers also have -1000s on order. It's a different sized aircraft, and I expect many airlines to operate both.

They haven't lost Lufthansa. Lufthansa is an A350 customer.

No one of sound mind should take any of these seriously; as they are clearly biased towards Airbus, as they should be.

See the date on top.

The SAS order was only firmed up this month.

Oh no. I hoped that they would have learned from Boeing's mistake with the 787 battery problems. But they seem confident about the battery.

It is certain that they have been doing additional testing and have convinced themselves and the regulators that their implementation is correct.
