The first tower will house a 408-room 5-star hotel, while the second will have 229 serviced apartments and retail plaza. Contractors submit bids for Bab al-Qasr hotel work
Contractors have submitted their bids for the main construction contract for the Bab al-Qasr hotel in Abu Dhabi. The bidders include Alec, Al-Habtoor Engineering Enterprises, Arabtec Construction, all local firms, the local/Lebanese Arabian Construction Company (ACC), and Turkey’s Nurol. http://www.cnplus.co.uk/news/middle-...205514.article

the project board was on site about a year ago, but i think the tower was re-modeled recently, i remember seeing the new tower render.
