Alpine towns of Bavaria and Austria

This is a loose continuation of my series about Munich from which me and El_greco made a quick (one day, ~500km) drive around Bavarian alps (via towns of Ettal and Oberammergau) and a brief visit to Austrian city Innsbruck

Driving with a satnav is not always a good idea... for most of the time I did not have a sense where I was driving and to what direction

Until now I haven't spend much time in Bavaria (except Munich) or Austria. I only quick travelled through them to get to Italy or Croatia. And that's such a shame, because Bavaria and Austria are such gorgeous places! Totally worth a visit too.
Thank you very much for the pictures. I'm looking forward for more.

The top speed we achieved at one of such stretches was about 215km/h... too bad some little sucker with his pathetic BMW X3 was "overtaking" someone at a pathetically low speed on the left lane which did not allow me to take the maximum speed (which, I guess, could have been in a range of 240-250km/h)

This is it. Perhaps Bavaria deserves more time and exploration but this is what we managed in a day.
